Welcome to Worm School, a great fun, on line, interactive classroom where you’ll find everything you need to know – and even more – about worms and worm farming. The Tumbleweed Worm School is all about having fun while you learn, so you’ll find drawings to colour in, photographic competitions and a blog for your own thoughts and experiences with worms.
There are also some amazing worm facts to feed your brain and help you with assignments – like the fact that a worm can live for 15 years…. and that they eat their own body weight in food every day…
There’s even a diagram of the anatomical structure of a worm’s incredible tubular body!
But Worm School is not only for kids. Its also packed with loads of great interactive learning activities so that teachers – or parents – can help their kids discover worms – and understand why this fascinating species is one of nature’s ultimate recyclers!
