Composting in your School

At Tumbleweed, we’re committed to educating young Australians to ensure they understand the importance of protecting the environment… and showing them how much fun recycling can be.

That’s why we deliver sustainability workshops and develop free resources for teachers for use in the classroom.

The resources we’ve developed are designed in line with the curriculum and make learning fun. Students of all ages get to handle dirt, hold worms, set up and explore worm farms and compost bins… In the process, they discover a new appreciation for the way nature recycles its resources and they develop an interest in caring for their community.
